I just called (more like left messages again...) to Shaheen, Gregg, and Hodes. We'll see if I can actually get any satisfaction from anyone. I'll let you know if they call me back.

Hi Melissa! Can you send me the link for the NH Etsy group? Thanks!

I don't know of any NH people shutting businesses down b/c of this - I'll definitely have to change things and will lose tons of business, but I'm not shutting down. Can talk to a reporter too if they are interested.

I'd be willing to speak to the reporter though.

OK, I'm not from NH either, but I am from the Boston area :) Not sure if I am going to shut down or if I'm going to stay open as a form of civil disobedience.

I don't know of anyone right now, but I haven't checked the nh etsy team in awhile. I'll pop in over there, and if there is anyone, I'll let you know.

I know, I am not from NH, but I like to visit.

Actually, the reason for joining your party, is I have to be a member to tell you that if you know anyone that is closing their business due to CPSIA let me know. A reporter for the Boston Phoenix is looking for someone like this in the Boston area.

Hi there, I'm an independent toy developer and have gone through the process of CPSIA testing for my first production run on a series of blocks I've developed. The cost really broke the bank, and ate up most of my margin. I'm wondering if anyone out…

Didn't they sit in on the drafting of the CPSIA? I just received this, from change.org: http://www.change.org/wakeupwalmart/actions/view/tell_walmart_to_get_dangerous_products_off_its_shelves

Help Support the new CPSIA Documentary!

A CPSIA documentary is in the works. Since the mainstream media seems to think this is not worthy of their precious air time, this is another great way to get the word out and put our leaders on the "hot seat" to explain themselves. We know that the impact of this travesty is widespread. Now we just need to collect our pennies together and help support the documentary. We have over 700 members here. Imagine if everyone gave just $20....(that would be $14,000 and good chunk of the cost). Here is a quick way to make a donation.

This is a donation to support the making of a CPSIA documentary (see link for details). CPSIA-Central is not affiliated with this organization, and is offering this space for the paypal button in support of the documentary.
