I sell used children's clothes on eBay. I will lose my business and investment, of course. I am very upset about the government's priorities. Thousands of children are injured or die every year in preventable accidents, yet Congress chooses to pick on an issue that hasn't even seriously injured a child as far as I know! God forbid a single citizen isn't ready for the change to digital TV; they've been informing us for a YEAR about that! Yet they approve a law that affects of people with no notification! I now have very little faith in our government.

What would you like us to know about you? (public)
My eBay store is mostly a hobby, but I do not want to lose my investment or my passion for it! I've written letters and even had the #1 FM morning show discuss the topic without much effect.

I work part time for a private daycare. I love children, gardening and finding great clothes for my eBay store.

Today the Wall Street Journal wrote a scathing review of the CPSIA and the CPSC's inability to deal with lack of flexibility provided to the Commission "Lead is a typical component of brass but poses minuscule risk to children through toys. As the...

Is this a proposed guidance that still needs to be voted on? Am I reading it correctly? It appears they will allow component testing if voted on and as long as items are made under 10,000 units, they will not need to be certified, but still must u...

Help Support the new CPSIA Documentary!

A CPSIA documentary is in the works. Since the mainstream media seems to think this is not worthy of their precious air time, this is another great way to get the word out and put our leaders on the "hot seat" to explain themselves. We know that the impact of this travesty is widespread. Now we just need to collect our pennies together and help support the documentary. We have over 700 members here. Imagine if everyone gave just $20....(that would be $14,000 and good chunk of the cost). Here is a quick way to make a donation.

This is a donation to support the making of a CPSIA documentary (see link for details). CPSIA-Central is not affiliated with this organization, and is offering this space for the paypal button in support of the documentary.
